JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Check all detail construction drawings, ensure work complies with the latest construction drawings and specifications.   • Coordinate with all subcontractors on the work progress and mitigate issues affecting the work progress. Assists the Project/Construction Manager in the planning of Week Ahead schedule of works.
  • Ensure the quality of workmanship is acceptable according to industry standards and reject works that are generally unacceptable. Comply with QLASSIC requirements on work quality. Carry out periodical quality inspections and identify defective works. Ensure all defective works are immediately rectified. Cultivate and promote culture with a “Do It Right The First Time” approach on work quality.
  • Coordinate in ordering and receiving of materials and comply with all necessary ISO documentation.
  • Implement controls to minimize wastage. Carry out daily supervision works and report to the Project/Construction Manager.
  • Carry out systematic recordings of work progress by respective subcontractors. Submit Daily Records to the Construction Manager for endorsement. Be accountable for the endorsement of daily records submitted.
  • Any other job responsibilities required by the Project/Construction Manager.
  • Attend all project site meetings as well as technical meetings with clients or consultants.
  • Monitor and inspect work sites to ensure safe work practices are carried out accordingly.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superior.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate or Diploma.
  • At least 3 years working experience related with building MEP or M&E works is required.
  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in construction.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with working knowledge in the construction field.
  • Proven experience as a site supervisor or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in English and Malay is mandatory.

Berjaya Land Berhad (“BLand” or “the Group”) delivered a steady performance for the quarter ended 30 September 2025, supported by stronger business momentum across its key operating segments, particularly hospitality and property development.

For the 1st Quarter ended 30 September 2025

Berjaya Land Berhad (“BLand” or “the Group”) delivered a steady performance for the quarter ended 30 September 2025, supported by stronger business momentum across its key operating segments, particularly hospitality and property development.
For the quarter under review, the Group registered revenue of RM1.88 billion, an improvement from RM1.77 billion in the corresponding quarter last year. Pre-tax profit stood at RM61.95 million.
The Group’s higher revenue was mainly driven by:
  • H.R. Owen Pic, resulting from stronger new car sales volume and increased vehicle deliveries.

  • The hotels and resorts segment, which achieved higher average occupancy rates and improved average room rates, reflecting sustained growth in tourism activity.

  • The property development and investment division, which saw higher progress billings, mainly from Residensi Oak, Bukit Jalil and Pangsapuri Azalea, Subang Heights.

The Group also reported a 102% increase in profit from operations largely supported by higher profit contributions from the hotels and resorts segment and the property development and investment segment.

Future Prospects

Malaysia’s economic outlook is expected to remain supported by strong domestic demand and the moderation of average inflation, despite uncertainties arising from ongoing geopolitical tensions and the inflationary impact of tariff adjustments. The Group will continue to monitor global and local political developments across countries where it operates, ensuring agile responses to emerging risks and opportunities.

The performance of the Group’s domestic business segments is expected to improve further, supported by resilient consumer spending and sustained growth in tourism activities. The NFO business is anticipated to continue its positive trajectory, backed by the popularity of its Jackpot and Digit games, while maintaining its leading market position within the legalised NFO sector.

Barring unforeseen circumstances, the Directors remain cautiously optimistic that the Group’s business operations will deliver satisfactory performance for the remaining quarters of the financial year ending 30 June 2026.
