Job Purpose
To support the evaluation of business opportunities, strategic projects, due diligence and financial analysis across the Group’s portfolio, including energy and solar.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Build, maintain and/or review financial models to evaluate project feasibility (IRR, payback) and M&A transactions.
- Research industry landscape, comparable companies, market trends and commercial viability.
- Perform financial analysis and valuation on potential targets.
- Identify key risks and potential mitigating factors in transactions and projects.
- Provide execution support, including assisting in the evaluation of deal structures, highlighting project risks, identifying potential mitigation strategies, coordinating due diligence workstreams and assisting in the review of transaction documentation.
- Prepare presentation slides, reports and materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support portfolio management of investee companies, including tracking financial and operational performance against budget, and working with investee company management teams to drive delivery of budget targets and growth plans.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, Economics or related disciplines.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, investment analysis, M&A, transaction advisory or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word; VBA or other Excel add-ins an advantage.
- Strong commercial, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt and apply knowledge to different situations.
- Experience in the power, utilities or broader energy sector an advantage.
- Meticulous, attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
