JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To prepare management and statutory reports for a plantation. division, 5-years forecast, budgets and cash flow projection.
  • To monitor day-to-day production records of an oil palm plantation.
  • To prepare necessary agreements for any contract works for an oil palm plantation.
  • To review the accounting systems and maintenance of financial and accounting records.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory & tax authorities and also prepare any tax compliance reports as required.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA or its equivalent. Degree/Diploma in Agriculture Science / Plantation Management / ISP Diploma would be an added advantage.
  • More than 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity, preferably in medium to large oil palm plantation management or exposure to the industry through external audit environment.
  • Practical working knowledge on the application of Financial Reporting Standard.
  • Practical knowledge of a fully integrated computerized system will be an advantage.
  • Possess strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Possess a high level of integrity, meticulous, analytical and able to work independently.
  • Must be able to travel to the estates and to undertake any ad-hoc assignment when required.
