JOB DESCRIPTION
- Build, maintain and review complex financial models to evaluate project feasibility and M&A transactions.
- Conduct research on industry landscape, comps, competitor/market; commercial viability, perform financial analyses and valuation and identifying the key risks and potential mitigants in transactions.
- Provide execution support including the evaluation of deal structure, highlight projects risks and identify potential mitigation strategies, coordination of the various due diligence workstreams and review of transaction documentation.
- Preparation and review of presentation and materials used for engaging internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams ie Commercial, Legal, Finance, and Tax for seamless execution of transactions.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration and Economics.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Financial tools, ie VBA macros, or other Excel add-ins; PowerPoint and Word.
- Experience in the Power and Utilities industry and familiarity with the broader energy industry will be an advantage.
- Strong commercial and analytical skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in outputs.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
