JOB DESCRIPTION
- Strategic Planning and Market Research:
- Identify new business opportunities, including markets, trends, partnerships, and customer segments.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor activity, and industry developments.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business growth objectives.
- Sales and Client Acquisition:
- Generate leads and build a pipeline of prospective clients through networking, cold calls, and other outreach methods.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Develop strategic partnerships and alliances with other organizations to enhance business opportunities.
- Act as a point of contact for clients, resolving issues and addressing concerns in a timely manner.
- Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Work closely with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product development, and operations) to align business development strategies with company goals.
- Provide market feedback to inform product improvements and innovation.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to design campaigns that attract new clients.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Set and track sales goals, revenue targets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities and outcomes for senior management.
- Analyze sales and market data to measure the effectiveness of strategies and adjust as needed.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

- Leadership and Organizational Skills:
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Leadership qualities to guide and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Results-driven with a strong focus on achieving targets and objectives.
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (required).
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
- Industry-specific experience may be required depending on the role (e.g., IT, finance, healthcare).
