Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Vincent Tan Chee Yioun is a businessman with more than four decades of entrepreneurial experience and success.

He has a diverse portfolio of business interests, including his significant stake in Berjaya Corporation and private holdings across various sectors such as retail, hospitality, property and services. In 2023, Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Vincent Tan transitioned from his role as Chairman of Berjaya Corporation Berhad to serve as the Advisor to the Board.
As a philanthropist, Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Vincent Tan has contributed immensely to the community via his charity foundations Better Malaysia Foundation (“BMF”) and Yayasan My First Home (“YMFH”).
Better Malaysia Foundation
The Better Malaysia Foundation (“BMF”) was founded to support various social causes including education, healthcare, and housing for underprivileged communities. Championing English language proficiency, BMF partners with NGOs to create community learning centers offering free education and soft skills training.

In the healthcare sector, BMF provides financial aid for the treatment of diseases such as cancer and AIDS besides supporting NGO-operated acupuncture and haemodialysis centres for impoverished kidney patients.

Recognising the importance of housing in enhancing individual and collective well-being, as well as contributing to economic and social progress, BMF is committed to providing affordable homes for the underprivileged and first-time homebuyers through its YMFH initiative.
YAYASAN MY FIRST HOME
Yayasan My First Home is a foundation established by Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Vincent Tan with the aim of helping young Malaysians and first-time homebuyers achieve the dream of homeownership. The foundation focuses on providing financial assistance, education, and support to individuals who face challenges in securing a home, particularly those in the lower to middle-income groups.
