JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate investment proposals, corporate exercises and other business proposals, including financial, qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Conduct research and feasibility studies on the proposed transactions.
- Prepare schemes, presentation papers, announcements, circulars to shareholders and other transaction-related documents in connection with the proposed transactions and corporate exercises.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, listing requirements and guidelines issued by relevant regulatory authorities, both local and overseas, where applicable.
- Review and ensure the accuracy, completeness and quality of financial analysis, presentation materials, legal documents, reports, regulatory submissions, documents to shareholders and public investors.
- Liaise and coordinate with internal departments, investee companies, external advisers, legal counsel, regulators and/or other relevant stakeholders in relation to the investment proposals and corporate exercises.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Management from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Possess a Degree in Accountancy/Finance/Economics or a professional qualification such as ACCA/MICPA/CPA or equivalent.
- Have at least 6-7 years of relevant working experience in corporate finance transactions, audit or related fields.
- Possess sound knowledge of the capital markets, securities laws, listing requirements and guidelines issued by the relevant authorities.
- Possess good writing and research skills, with good attention to detail.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Be able to manage multiple assignments, exercise sound judgement and deliver quality work within tight timelines.
- Be pro-active, self-motivated and highly adaptive in challenging working environment.
