Assistant Contract Manager
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for evaluation and preparation of project progress claim and verification of sub-contractor’s monthly claims.
- To resolve all contractual and commercial issues and disputes at site.
- Manage, control, and validate all costings and changes within the allocated budget.
- Review and recommend contractual claim and changes for verification and certification by superior.
- Responsible for contract administration in accordance to the conditions of the contract.
- Ensure operational work processes and documentations are in compliance with the company’s ISO.
- Manage and initiate the tendering processes, conduct tender interviews, evaluation and analysis of cost, recommendation for award of tender, and preparation of letter of award.
- Any other tasks as assigned by the Management from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying, Contract Management or equivalent.
- As least 7 years’ experience in the consultancy/construction/property development industry.
- Strong knowledge of pre and post contract works.
- Possess good analytical and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, a team player, and able to cope in an accelerated work environment.
- Able to work independently under pressure within tight deadlines, and possess a high level of integrity.
- Proficient in written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.
