Responding to the plight of a visually impaired man and his cancer stricken son, the management of Bukit Jalil Golf & Country Club raised more than RM1,000 from a series of golf tournaments and contributions in kind from members of the staff. Plagued by acute diabetes which resulted in En. Johari's visual impairment, the family was further weighed down when their eldest son's arm was amputated in the hopes of curbing the spread of bine cancer.
