Once again, after the successful set up of Berjaya Starbucks Coffee's Free Clinic in Penang, Berjaya Starbucks Coffee collaborated with HOPE worldwide to carry out a survey program to gather information on their proposed venture into setting up a computer learning centre in Kuala Lumpur.
On 21 May 2005, 50 Starbucks partners from Starbucks stores in the Klang Valley sacrificed their weekend for this noble project carrying out interviews with the flat residents at San Peng Flats, Hang Tuah, Kuala Lumpur with regards to setting up a computer learning centre in the neighbourhood.
At Starbucks, we believe in contributing positively towards our local communities hence to enhance the Starbucks brand in Malaysia through a unified CSR message "We trust by doing well is by doing good".
