Berjaya Starbucks Coffee's Free Children's Clinic

The idea of the free pediatric for children was conceived because of the need for medical specialist treatment to the urban poor who were unable to seek proper pediatric treatment for their young children. The setting up of Berjaya Starbucks Coffee's Free Children's Clinic in collaboration with HOPE-Penang at Block 11-1-1, Lintang Macallum 2, 10300, Penang will enable the parents to give specialist treatment to their children at no cost. Officiated by local MP, YB Mr. Lee Hack Teik on 29 May 2005, the clinic opens for business every Tuesday and Fridays from 7pm to 9pm and currently has three voluntary doctors.
