SINGER Achieves RM100,000 for Charity Fund Drive


At the recent press conference held at Hilton Hotel on 7 February 2005, SINGER Malaysia proudly announced their achievement in raising RM100,000 for teh "SINGER Belian Amal Charity Fund" which was launched a few months ago. The funds were raised through SINGER's mega trade-in promotion where nett proceeds from the sale of trade-in items were distributed equally to five charitable associations, namely National Council of Senior Citizens Organization Malaysia (NACSCOM), National Kidney Foundation (NKF), National Stroke Association of Malaysia (NASAM), Paediatric Intensive Care Unit of University Malaya Medical Center (PICU) and Women's Aid Organization (WAO).

Nor Enson bt Abas, Senior Manager of Corporate Affair Department - PICU, Ms. Meera Samanther, President of WAO, and Ms. Shirley Koh, Fundraising Director of NKF.
