17th Sports Toto's Chinese New Year Ang Pow Donation 2005

The 17th Sports Toto's Chinese New Year Ang Pow Donation was officially launched on 27 January 2005 at the Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall, Kuala Lumpur.
About 14,200 needy senior citizens aged 60 years and above benefited from the nine-day charity campaign which took place at 42 cities and districts throughout the country from 27 January - 4 February 2005.
The old folks each received a packet of ang pow and a mini hamper consisting of an assortment of foodstuff. The launch was offciated by YB Dato' Dr. Ng Yen Yen, Deputy Minister of Finance who together with Dato' Robin Tan and Mr. Ng Foo Leong, Executive Director of Sports Toto has set aside RM650,000 for the charity campaign.

Old folks of all races gathered at the Chinese Assembly Hall, Kuala Lumpur to receive ang pows and goodies from Sports Toto in conjunction with the Chinese New Year.
