Siti Nurhaliza hosts buka puasa for less fortunate children at KRR

It was an unusually crowded Sunday evening on 11 November 2004 at KRR's JUSCO Ipoh outlet where food was not the only attraction. Fans of Siti Nurhaliza flocked the outlet just to catch a glimpse of their favourite songtress who made a special visit to the outlet for the "Buka Puasa" event for children from various homes.

Some of Siti's fans made advance bookings for the event in an attempt to get closer to the pop diva while others waited at the entrance for an opportunity to meet their favourite star and to see her in action.

The children from Rumah Penyayang Darul Ridzuan, Anak Yatim Yayakem, Rumah Anak Yatim Al Munirah, Rumah Penyayang Sungai Buaya, Rumah K.I.D.S and Sekolah Kebangsaan Gombak Setia Murid Yatim were treated to a special selection of KRR's wide variety of delicious and healthy delights.

At the end of the event, Siti made a request for her favourite six-pack box of assorted muffins to take-away.
