RM100,000 For Tuanku Syed Putra Dialysis Centre

On 2 April 2004, Tuanku Syed Putra Dialysis Centre received a cheque of RM100,000 from Berjaya Vacation Club in a charity dinner, “Malam Impian Ratu” held at the Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

The charity dinner was held in aid of the Tuanku Syed Putra Dialysis Centre-NKF Dialysis Centre located in Kangar, Perlis. The dialysis centre will be providing treatments to patients from the lower income bracket who cannot afford dialysis treatments, as well as providing public education and awareness on kidney diseases to the public.

The centre is scheduled to complete by year-end and is expected to be operational early next year.
