| NCSM Charity Golf Tournament To Raise Fund For Cancer Society |
| On 22 May 2004, the National Cancer Society of Malaysia Charity Golf Tournament was held at Staffield Country Resort to raise fund for the National Cancer Society of Malaysia, a non-profit organisation which is dependent on public donations and support to fund its medical services for cancer patients nationwide. The fund raising tournament successfully collected RM100,000 for National Cancer Society of Malaysia. Among the contributors include Mr. Vijay Singh, a PGA player from USA and his Malaysian wife, Adina; Naza Kia Motors, Breithing watches, Berjaya Group and Staffield Country Resort. About 90 participants played in the tournament including Negeri Sembilan royal family members namely Tunku Naquiyuddin, Tunku Imran and Tunku Nazaruddin. DYMM Tunku Jaafar and DYMM Tunku Najihah, the Yang DiPertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan and Tuanku Ampuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan who were patrons of the event also played in the tournament. . |
