Sports Toto Sponsors Kuala Lumpur - Maran Marathon

Sports Toto Malaysia has been sponsoring the KL - Maran Marathon for 12 consecutive years. This year, the company presented 600 T-shirts for participants, 100 caps for event officials and banners for the marathon in a presentation ceremony held on 12 March 2003.

Organised by the Tamil Nesan newspaper, the marathon is a unique event where participants can run, jog or just brisk walk to cover the distance of 204 km within 3 days including sleeping and eating at half way stops. It is a test of participants' endurance and perseverance, physical and spiritual strength.

More than 300 runner signed up for the marathon held from 15-18 March 2003. The race started from Batu Caves and ended at a Hindu Tample in Maran, Pahang.
