BERJAYA PARTICIPATES IN THE EDGE KUALA LUMPUR RAT RACE 2001

Berjaya Group has again participated in The Edge Kuala Lumpur Annual Rat Race this year on 8 August 2001. It is a 5.7km charity run for executives through the heart of Kuala Lumpur's business district in their office attire. Berjaya donated RM8,000 for the event. The beneficiaries of this year's Rat Race are The National Autistic Society of Malaysia, National Kidney Foundation of Malaysia, Hospis Malaysia, Malaysian Paralympic Council and the Spastic Children's Association of Selangor and Federal Teritory.

The Berjaya Group Team led by Ong Chin Sing (2nd left) of Eminent Capital Sdn Bhd. On his right is Charles Chen of Group Treasury who have participated in the race with Ong for two consecutive years.
