CONVENIENCE SHOPPING SDN BHD (7-ELEVEN) 

Convenience Shopping Sdn Bhd (CCSB) was incorporated on 4 June 1984. CSSB is the pioneer of 24-hour convenience stores in Malaysia via its franchise of 7-Eleven stores in Malaysia. The licensor of the trademark is Seven Eleven Inc., a company incorporated in the United States while Mr. Joe C Thompson was the founder of 7-Eleven’s concept back in 1927 at Dallas, Texas. Currently, the 7-Eleven concept is widely accepted in over 17 different countries worldwide, with a global network of over 22,000 stores, making it one of the biggest chain stores in the world.

Today, CSSB has over 300 7-Eleven stores in Malaysia with plans to set up more outlets, making it the largest 24-hour convenience store chain in the country.

Penang, Sg Petani, Ipoh - 36 stores
Johor Bahru, Kluang - 32 stores
Seremban, Melaka - 20 stores
Kuantan, Pahang - 5 stores

Each 7-Eleven store in Malaysia carries a total of 2,000 to 3,000 items ranging from a variety of groceries and household items to health and beauty aids. In addition, each store also carries the chain’s proprietary item, "Slurpee".

CSSB (Sabah) Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of CSSB Sdn Bhd, was set up in 1996 that manages and operates all 7-Eleven stores in Sabah.
