U MOBILE Sdn Bhd has appointed Oh Kwang-Jin as its chief executive officer (CEO), effective immediately.

Oh will focus on U Mobile's current go-to-market direction with emphasis on rapid network deployment, diversified products and services offerings as well as building on the positive brand perception built through value and performance driven products.

Oh has more than 11 years of experience in the mobile communications industry in the areas of information technology planning, corporate strategy, sales and marketing and overseas businesses, U Mobile said in a statement yesterday.
